You are one of one - not to be compared with anyone else.

From the very beginning you are being told to compare yourself with others. This is the greatest disease; it is like a cancer that goes on destroying your very soul because each individual is unique, and comparison is not possible. I am just myself and you are just yourself. There is nobody else in the world you can be compared with.

- here is a mood for a new client. We were aiming for a hyper-masculine, bold, athletic, and bold design that would inspire people to trust in their process and stay on the path. Bold typography, bold colors, perfect brand muses, and great vision from the client equals an excellent mood board and direction for the project.

Although the final colors ended up getting tweaked a little bit in hue, we were in LOVE with this mood board. What do you all think?

⚡️ {client work} One of the passion•preneurs I have been working with over the last few months is a community cultivator that is focused on building genuine relationships and through open and honest dialogue, transparency, and community events. She is passionate about people, regardlesss of their age, embracing the season of life they are in, and giving them a seat at the table.

The goal was to create a fun, bold, retro, and bright brand identity for that would be a connector for people of all ages and give them a space to feel seen, be heard, be honest, and feel loved.

We couldn’t show off brand identities without starting off with our very own.

Our initial inspiration was looking up to the sky - no greater inspiration that seeing the sun shining bright in a bright blue sky -
makes you want to just dream. Creation revealing God’s majesty. .

That inspiration resulted in this clean, upbeat, imaginative, and joyful brand identity that reflects our positive outlook on life and the joy we aspire for every one of our clients to feel when they work with us. .

Good Design is a collaboration between the clients vision and the designer’s expertise.

This was a draft of the website that we were in LOVE with. We were obsessed with .lindsay maternity photos. But she is just the dopest so all of her photos were top tier.

We created a platform for them that can use all types of mediums (music, video, and written stories) to share the amazing stories of dope black mamas around the world.

We incorporated some CSS and custom elements we learned through the Standout Squarespace course and it just made the site next level!

We live for a good color palette! wanted an earthy, ethereal, eccentric, and muted color palette that represented a wide variety of skin color, growth, and earthiness. We are obsessed with this palette.
