They're tending the soil. They're planting the seeds, nurturing the garden, and having the will and tenacity to pull weeds when you need to pull the weeds. They're helping to build character by modeling the behavior and the values of the organization.”

Gobi Marketing Group is pleased to announce the launch of the “Going Beyond the Image” podcast – a new series featuring conversations led by our founder Loán Lake on HOW leaders live their brand. With the continuous news cycles of CEOs and other executives whose bad judgment wreaked havoc on their company brands, I thought it was time to have an honest discussion about what a brand is and how its leaders can literally make or BREAK it.
In this series I will interview leaders from the nonprofit world, government, private sector, and community organizations. Branding has been somewhat reduced to viral social media posts and trending videos, but it goes much deeper than that.
Join me as I share what it means to Go Beyond the Image (or the visuals/logo of a brand) to explore the role of a leader in maintaining the reputation (brand) that they are the face of.
