Earlier this month I spent a couple weeks with my dad in Maine to help him recover from surgery (that went very well!) and to mark his 72nd birthday. We celebrated in his favorite way, by hiking and walking all around the state I grew up in. I took the opportunity to bring along a few rolls of film, a Leica M3 from .us, and a handful of lenses generously let me borrow. (Maybe he’ll forget I have them?) I was also inspired by local photographer and artist, , who often shares her beautiful film photography online.

This trip was a great chance to spend some time together with my dad, and I had a lot of fun slowing down and composing photos that took me back to my youth in coastal Maine. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing a few of my favorite images! 📸❤️ – Jeff

One of our favorite clients is , whose 104th season of free, all-ages concerts kicks off next Sunday. We’ve been busy designing posters, postcards, self-mailers and more to promote the new season and the Spring Concert on April 26th at the MLK Jr. Performing Arts Center at Charlottesville High School. Cville Band is made up of more than 80 talented local musicians who play everything from jazz to classical to Disney songs for the kiddies, and although they take their music seriously, they want you to have serious fun! It’s a welcoming, family-friendly cultural experience, and we hope to see you there!

We’re ready to celebrate the return of Charlottesville City Market tomorrow! With and less than a 10-minute walk from each other, we’re excited to make the rounds and visit some of our favorite vendors. 🌼

The rapid rise of AI technology is transforming the creative industry every day. So to keep our business relevant, we’ve decided to go ahead and replace ourselves. We’ve loved collaborating with all of you, but we’re confident that you’ll have a great experience with our AI avatars, E-rin and JeffGPT. They can’t greet you with hugs, or support other small businesses with their purchases... and forget about hand modeling products for in-studio photos (they don’t have hands!). But they’re the wave of the future, so we better embrace them now!

We’ve been hearing a lot about how great it’s going to be when AI makes work irrelevant and those of us who always had jobs move on to some great utopia, so we’re excited for this next step. We wish you all the very best, and we thank you for your support these past couple years.
