FatRabbit Creative We are a female-owned, full-service design, digital marketing, and branding agency based in Chester,

FatRabbit Creative was founded over 20 years ago in Eric Koby’s basement. As the business grew, so did the team and he moved into an office space in Netcong, New Jersey. Skip forward a few years and the team was bigger than it had ever been so he decided to move the studio to Chester, New Jersey. The team flourished here and when Eric, our leader, passed away unexpectedly in 2016, the FatRabbit fa

mily rallied together to keep the business going in his honor, with his wife, Heather, stepping in as our CEO. Our philosophy is quite simple—smart strategy empowers creativity. We believe leading with strategy makes our creativity more effective. Although we see our design and technical solutions as valuable, we also value the importance of knowing our clients, their businesses, and especially their customers. As a result, the combination of a personal approach and industry-leading design techniques is our key to executing exceptional business solutions for your company.

Most nonprofits we meet are doing incredible work, but their message is getting lost.

They’re saying too much… and converting too little.

Non-profit websites are often packed with powerful statistics and heartfelt intention. But the stories? They aren’t clear. And new donors aren’t giving.

How can your organization change that? Instead of focusing on the organization, reposition the donor as the hero.

1. Define your donor’s role - not just as a giver, but as someone solving a real problem, making real change

2. Identify the stakes - show them what’s at risk if nothing changes

3. Position your organization as the guide - offer donors a clear, actionable plan for how they can help

4. Show the transformation - visualize the impact the donor could make by stepping into the story

The result? Messaging that evokes emotion, inspires action, and drives real engagement.

Because when donors can see themselves in the mission, they don’t just give.

They rally.

Pop-ups get a bad reputation, and with good reason. Too often, they interrupt the visitor, clutter the screen, and feel like a shout instead of an invitation.

But when used strategically, a Giving Tuesday pop-up can be an effective way to:

• Capture attention
• Drive action
• Reinforce your campaign message

Here’s how to make yours engaging:

1. Keep it clear and focused. Use a single message: what the campaign is and how to give.

2. Use it once & at the right moment. Don’t show it immediately. Trigger it after a few seconds or once the user scrolls.

3. Design it to match your site. Avoid visual dissonance. Keep branding clean, on-message, and mobile-friendly.

4. Offer a clear way out. Make the “close” button visible and respectful. You’re building trust, not hijacking attention.

In B2B messaging, one of the most costly mistakes companies make is positioning themselves as the hero.

But your customer isn’t looking for a hero, they’re looking for a GUIDE.

I help our clients shift this narrative to become the trusted guide for their customers.

How do I do this? I write messaging that does these 3 things:

1. Shows empathy for the client’s challenge

2. Offers a clear plan and simple process

3. Demonstrates authority that qualifies the business as a trusted guide

Take the time to audit your website copy this week. If it talks more about you than your customer, it’s time to reposition your message.

Confused shoppers don’t turn into customers.

How can you overcome that?

Use a clear, 3-step plan in your messaging. What does a 3-step plan look like?

1. It clarifies the customer’s first step - Make it easy to take action (book a call, schedule a demo)

2. It explains what happens next - Build confidence by explaining your process in a few words

3. It reinforces the outcome - Explain what success they will see as a result of working with you

This gives your customer a path to follow, without friction.

Take Away: Revisit your homepage or pitch deck today. If there’s no clear plan, you’re likely losing customers who don’t know what to do next.
