Fiore Press Letterpress Welcome to Fiore Press, a small letterpress design and print studio outside of Chicago.

We create custom wedding invitations, birth announcements and social stationery. Each sheet is hand-fed and printed with care on a vintage but mighty printing press.

This is an introductory class where we’ll go over how to mix ink, set up plates and the press, and run various prints depending on the season and theme. This month our theme is Valentine's Day! 🥰 We’ll have some snacks and drinks so grab your friends and let’s do this! See link in bio for registration details and to sign up.⁠

In this introductory workshop, you will learn basic letter formations to create the illusion of calligraphy with a pencil or pen, become comfortable forming letters through drills to create muscle memory, learn how to "faux letter" with step-by-step demonstration and practice. Faux lettering (or "fauxligraphy") will really give you a solid foundation and make the transition to lettering with brush pens and calligraphy much easier!

I printed some cards to donate to The Stationery Station on Central (right next to New Balance in Port Clinton Square). 100% of your purchase will go to the Highland Park Parade Victims’ Fund through Victims First. Swipe—> My oldest graduated from high school this past weekend. I was so proud of her and all of her classmates—these kids has proven to be pretty resilient over the past two years, and I am so proud of all of them. As we were taking photos all over the front of the beautiful building, I was struck in particular by the front entrance with all of its details, especially after printing ‘s rendering of this iconic front door for . 💙💛🎓 Congrats to the class of 2022!
