Eminent Sky is currently working on an Independent Short Film Project entitled Never Alone. Never Alone is the story of a black charismatic teenage boy from a moderately wealthy neighborhood, whose father was racially-profiled, shot, and killed, by the hands of the police. Depressed and filled with overwhelming grief, through a coping mechanism, he imagines his father as his spiritual guide; to teach him how to forgive, rekindle his relationship with his mother, and come to terms with his father’s death. Our objective is to use storytelling as a way to increase awareness about the harsh realities that people of color might experience as a result of racial profiling and unjust policing.
