The was visible to the naked eye over Ghost Lake on July 17th. Set inside the Chequamegonā€‘Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin, this area is considered a Bortle Class 2 sky making for excellent . I set up my and shot for about 30minutes before the sounds of Wolves and a Loon got all too close.

Andromeda is visible with some other majors and minors in the following slides. This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy the north woods and all that the Hayward area has to offer.

150 N Wacker Drice is on of my favorite office towers in downtown Chicago. Completed in 1989 and designed by architecture firm Goettsch Partners, it features modern glass-and-steel styling with direct views of the Chicago River. Located right on the , it offers easy access to nearby transit, restaurants, and the Loop. A true masterclass example of late-80s commercial architecture.

In honor of the being in Chicago today to speak at the home of the Guarenteed Rate Field. I thought Iā€™d post these images I shot a few years back when my friends at redesigned the outfield section. Getting to fly a drone inside the stadium and partner with two incredible brands was a real treat, and having a stadium to your self ainā€™t bad either.

Had a great time in Maui escaping the frigid Chicago winter. Saw some turtles, whales, and nearly every fish in the coral reefs while snorkeling around the island. Very thankful for this amazing trip and the good times spent in the sunny weather.

Iā€™ve probably captured the Glass House Apartments a dozen times in my career. But these recent images came out nicely.

860ā€“880 Lake Shore Drive consists of two iconic glass-and-steel apartment towers located on N. Lake Shore Drive in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, overlooking Lake Michigan. Designed by Mies van der Rohe, these 26-story tall structures were constructed between 1949 and 1951.

Their innovative design became a hallmark of the modern International Style and played a significant role in shaping the evolution of modern high-tech architecture. Recognized for their architectural significance, the towers were added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1980, and designated as Chicago Landmarks on June 10, 1996.

1- The McClean County Museum of History, formerly a court house for Abraham Lincoln and a great example of classical revival architecture.

2- opened in 1857 and recently renovated in 2024 to expand the library by over 50,000SF.

3-The David Davis Mansion- home to former Lincoln campaign manager and Supreme Court justice.
