As someone who loves astronomy AND studies astrology + numerology, I wanted to understand what’s actually happening in the sky, what comes from ancient history, and what developed through modern spirituality.

My biggest takeaway?
We don’t have to choose between wonder and discernment.

The astronomy can be real, the symbolism can be meaningful, and they don’t have to be the same thing. I also realized that this year amplifies the numerology because it's also a Universal 8 Day.

Today’s sky has layers:

💫 Venus enters Libra: Beauty, connection, harmony, art, love, and reciprocity come home and into focus.

☀️ Sun trine Saturn Rx in Aries: Reminding us that confidence isn’t only about shining. It’s about having the discipline to build something worthy of our light.

🌙 And astronomically, look up tonight:

The Moon will appear near the Pleiades, the Seven Sisters, one of the most recognizable star clusters in our night sky.

Astrology + astronomy giving us plenty of reasons to look up. ✨

As an artist, I learned to notice color, composition, symbolism & emotion.
As a photographer, I learned to observe light, timing & perspective.
Through astronomy, I learned to observe the sky.
Through astrology, I learned to recognize patterns across time.
When I read tarot & oracle, all of those ways of seeing come together!

I don't only read the symbolism of the cards, I pay attention to the imagery that calls to me in the moment, because sometimes that's where the conversation begins.

Looking back, none of these paths were ever separate. They were all teaching me how to SEE. 👁‍🗨 Today, all of those paths meet in one place.

For nearly 20 years, I've stood on the edges of rooms with a camera in my hands. What I didn't realize was that photography was teaching me far more than composition, lighting, or exposure. It was teaching me how to pay attention.

After photographing thousands of people and countless moments, I began to notice patterns. The conversations between the conversations. The glance before the smile. The quiet leaders. The people who make others feel seen. The moments that happen between the poses.

Looking back, I think photography shaped not only how I create, but how I lead, build brands, listen, and understand people.

I wrote about that realization in my latest essay, What Photography Taught Me About Seeing People and Patterns.

7/7 always reminds me to zoom out. 📸 I took this photo of the Milky Way, and it feels like the perfect bridge between the math of today’s 7/7 portal and the mystery of the cosmos. 🌌

I captured it beneath one of the darkest skies I’ve ever experienced in Joshua Tree. After years of photographing the night sky, this is the clearest image of the Milky Way I’ve ever been able to capture. 🤩📸

While I was there, I filled pages of my journal trying to describe something words never quite could. The wind. The silence. The feeling that the desert itself was alive even in its stillness.

Looking back, I realize the desert wasn’t trying to tell me what would happen, it was teaching me how to see.

Whether you see today as a sacred portal or simply a beautiful reminder to pause, 7/7 invites us to reflect, reconnect with our inner wisdom, and remember the bigger picture. 🌠 This year, the numerology carries the grounding energy of a Universal 6, reminding us that even when life feels uncertain, there can still be harmony and retreat within the unfolding.

As if the timing couldn’t be more fitting, Neptune also stations retrograde today, inviting us to turn inward and trust the wisdom that’s been quietly waiting beneath the surface.

The Milky Way reminds me of that. 🌌

What appears vast and unfathomable from where we stand is, in reality, moving in extraordinary mathematical harmony.

Maybe our lives are, too.
