While everyone was watching Venus and Jupiter, Pollux quietly joined the conversation. 🌠 A fixed star many don’t know about…

As Venus and Jupiter drew close together in the western sky this week, I stepped outside to witness and capture the alignment. 📸✨

Venus, associated with love, beauty, creativity, and values, met Jupiter, the planet of expansion, wisdom, and opportunity. Together they managed to shine through breaks in the clouds above Chicago.

What surprised me was realizing Pollux (upper right) had found its way into the frame as well.

In mythology, Pollux was the immortal twin of Gemini, a warrior, protector, and symbol of unwavering devotion and loyalty. While Venus and Jupiter are often associated with blessings, abundance, and possibility, Pollux brings a different reminder: protect ya neck (protect what matters).

Seeing all three together felt not only rare but symbolic.

Venus reminds us to open our hearts.
Jupiter reminds us to expand.
Pollux reminds us that strong boundaries make both possible.

Lately, I’ve been learning that receiving doesn’t require becoming smaller, quieter, or more agreeable. We are allowed to welcome beauty, opportunity, and abundance while fiercely protecting our peace.

As both an astrophotographer and astrology student, I love moments like this. They remind me that the sky is not only something to observe, but something to build a relationship with. And sometimes the sky isn’t giving us answers, it’s simply reflecting back what we’re already learning.

Whether you see astronomy, astrology, mythology, or simply beauty, nights like this invite us to look up. 🌃

One of the biggest shifts I've made as a creative director is realizing that not every day is meant for the same type of work.

For years, I expected myself to be equally creative, strategic, productive, social, and focused every single day. Eventually I noticed that some days naturally supported deep work, while others felt better for communication, visioning, relationship-building, or rest.

One framework I've found surprisingly useful comes from planetary days, an ancient system that associates each day of the week with a different archetypal energy.

Whether you view it through the lens of astrology, symbolism, or simply intentional planning, it has helped me create a more sustainable rhythm for my business and creative practice.

For years, I've helped bring other people's visions to life. As a photographer, creative director, digital strategist, and storyteller, I've spent much of my career building brands, websites, campaigns, and content for clients.

This week, under the Blue Moon in Sagittarius, I'm sharing something a little different: A collection of hand-wrapped crystal jewelry I've been quietly creating since 2020.

What began as a creative outlet and gifts for friends and family eventually became a reminder that creativity isn't just a service I provide, it's part of who I am.

Each piece is hand-wrapped, Reiki infused, and created with intention.

Whether through photography, branding, storytelling, or jewelry, I'm realizing the thread has always been the same:
Creating meaningful things that help people feel more connected... to themselves, their stories, and the world around them.

Sometimes the next step in business isn't expanding. It's revealing the part of yourself you've kept hidden.

There’s something deeply powerful about women gathering with intention. ✨

Not to compete, perform, or to prove anything. Just to heal, connect, breathe, and remember ourselves together.

It was beautiful to capture moments from the BEYOND WELLNESS 4 Year Anniversary Women’s Month Brunch at , an early afternoon centered around community, sound healing, nervous system care, entrepreneurship, and stepping into higher, more aligned versions of ourselves. 🙏🏼

The event also featured an inspiring women’s entrepreneurial panel and space for women-owned businesses to vend, connect, and share their work. I love seeing spaces where women are supported in both healing and thriving. 💫

In a world that constantly pulls us into survival mode, spaces like this matter!

Grateful to witness and document it all through my lens. 📸✨

Social media moves fast, but I’ve been craving a slower space to write more honestly and share beyond algorithms and short captions.

Excited to see the Harper Court Summer Music Series return to Hyde Park this year!

This visual system and layout were part of a design direction I created, built to feel bold, rhythmic, and rooted in the energy of Chicago summers. Strong typography, layered hierarchy, and vibrant color to hold both culture and movement.

Always beautiful to see a concept continue to live and evolve.

I had such a beautiful time leading a Photography Workshop for educators last week centered around capturing authentic moments in the classroom through photography. 📸✨

We explored:
• documenting children’s learning and exploration
• capturing genuine expression over forced poses
• using natural light intentionally
• creating stronger compositions through simple shifts in perspective and background awareness

One of my favorite parts was the interactive portion, where educators used their phones and tablets to practice capturing real moments in real time.

I'm so grateful to Christopher House (Uptown) for the invitation and for creating space for creativity and continued learning within education.
