AI isn't the future, it's already here... and you have Google to thank (or blame, if you aren't prepared).
Starting in 2024, Google slowly began rolling out AI summaries to the top of its search functionality. For awhile, this was available on desktop only. Then, it was a feature you could opt out of.
But the search engine, which dominates web queries, has slowly adjusted its algorithms to feature fewer websites on it's "ranking pages" and a more prominent AI summary.
The result? 87% of adults now get information via AI summaries, according to a summary by Centerfield.
It's a strategy that's worn down even the biggest opponents to AI summaries ... like me. 🙋🏼♀️ As an English and history major, I LOVE going to primary sources for information... but even I don't want to work that hard to find an answer when AI is handing it to me on a silver platter.
Watching my own habits change was a wake up call: We can't keep marketing to people in the same ways.
The good news is: If you never bothered to learn about SEO and SERP and keywords ... you may never have to.
I'm partnering with my friends at Myriad Advisor Solutions to dig into how the internet is changing and what you need to do to ensure your content and website stand out. The equally smart digital experts at Impact Communications will be hosting.
It's a can't-miss webinar if you want to stay ahead of the curve in 2026.
