Over the past three years, I had the opportunity to work with the Cesar Chavez Foundation across various projects as a contractor and creative director. I am deeply heartbroken by the recent revelations. I was invited to spend time in community with the organization in person, where I met people who genuinely believed in the movement and the work behind it, and that experience has stayed with me.
I stand with the survivors. Their voices are valid, no matter how much time has passed. We must hold space for those who may have experienced harm. They deserve to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity.
I also want to recognize Dolores Huerta and the statement shared through her foundation. Her courage in speaking her truth and continuing to lead with integrity is a reminder of what this work has always stood for.
This is a moment that calls for honesty and accountability. The movement was never about one man. It was built by people, by community, by sacrifice, and by a shared commitment to justice. That work continues, and it must continue with truth, care, and a deep commitment to those most impacted.
I remain in full support of all those affected, and of a future where healing, dignity, and community lead the way.
