☘️ The river will turn emerald green just hours before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Here’s everything you need to know:
☘️ The dyeing starts at 10am on Saturday, March 14, 2026

☘️ The best viewing spots are between Columbus Drive and State Street

☘️ Arrive early. The brightest green color only lasts a few hours

☘️ Upper Wacker, Michigan Ave, and riverwalk bridges offer some of the best views

☘️ Expect huge crowds. Public transit is the easiest way to get downtown

☘️ The parade follows later that day, so the energy stays all afternoon
