Welcome to Marisa Conners Graphics!
Hi, I am Marisa Conners, a visionary, creative, talented, and ambitious designer, artist, and entrepreneur from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a creator of Marisa Conners Graphics which aims to bring your ideas to life through graphic design work and display my uniquely innovative graphics. I have Cerebral Palsy which leaves me unable to speak on my own. I communicate with you using my iPad. Luckily, my CP doesn’t affect my mind. I have a super creative and sharp mind. I am a highly skilled visual learner and thinker because I have a unique gift of the ability to visualize everything through my mind. I also have an exceptional photographic memory that enables me to visually recall every detail in my head.
Graphic design and art are the most particular interests and talents that I have developed in my life. I began developing my own skills at the age of 3. My dad taught me how to use technology at the same time as I started using a computer. I would use a computer every single day. I particularly love art and design. I have always wanted to become a fashion designer and entrepreneur since kindergarten because I was playing fashion games on a computer. Therefore, I have developed a strong passion for designing unique fashion. I used an old basic paint application to create anything on a computer. I used to draw on paper from toddlerhood to high school but it was hard for me to do it. I started learning graphic design in high school. The use of digital technology is essential for me and it helped me find a creative voice. Creating art and design on a digital screen is much easier and more important than on paper for me. I have learned a lot about graphic design in a self-teaching way. The experience has given me confidence in my creativity and design skills. In addition to my fashion passion, I am very passionate about creating unique art and design on the digital screen.
My two main passions are Fashion and Graphic Design because I primarily focus on using specialized software to create any kind of things in the fashion and graphic design industries. My interest in fashion and graphic design has always focused on how I can adapt my specialized skills due to my challenges with cerebral palsy. And I truly believe in my abilities and talents. I refuse to let my disability hold me back from doing what I love and following my dreams, but it’s just a part of my story.
My love of graphic design and art is bringing my visual story and narrative to many creative people including those who are struggling with their disabilities.
Outside of my work, I love shopping, traveling, dancing, listening to music, movies, and hanging out with friends. I am a lifelong fan of Disney. I am also a huge fan of local sports teams, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. My favorite singer is Taylor Swift who created the "Shake It Off" song and the song always makes me feel motivated and happy every day.
I am striving to inspire others to achieve their dreams and goals even if they have physical challenges.
