Why do different pigments remove much differently even given the same wrap, age, and conditions? It all comes down to solvent load. Red requires more solvent than black, and therefore needs more outgassing. If the installer is in a hurry and laminates before proper outgassing, that solvent is trapped and migrates towards the adhesive layer, changing the chemical composition and making it a much tougher removal.

Ghost-Off Oxidation Remover is pertect on oxidized gelcoat and FRP that you'll find on well used boat and RV's. It will leave you a chemically clean surface. Use it as a prep wash to avoid vinyl lifting from grease, chalky oxidation, silicone overspray, and exhaust residue. Ready to use or can be diluted with water. Great for cleaning stains on wraps!

PPF Glue is very thick. Quick flashing glue removers are the wrong solution. Adhesive-Off Pro allows a long dwell and carries a surfactant for jobs just like this.

Our friend Marcus over at LowCountryLowDown9000 filmed a removal of very cracked PPF using Vinyl-Off and the bagging technique.
The only thing we would have done differently - once you remove the film, don't use vinyl off to remove the glue. Use Adhesive-Off Pro or Adhesive-Off Low VOC.
It's more effective on glue and safer on surfaces. This technique can help you save that hood!

It's been a wild ride! We started Brothers Chemical from basically zero. We knew nothing about removing graphics, but it turns out that if you send yourself fully down the rabbit hole and give everything 100% you can just figure stuff out.
