Recently had the honor of developing a brand for my dear friends Deidre and Suzanne for Cultivate&Co. Homes ( .homes ). They wanted a brand as refined and elegant as their home designs that fused warmth, calm, and a sense of groundedness. With carefully selected typefaces that felt classic yet modern, a warm rich earth toned color palette, and a focus on white space, the brand creates a softness that invites someone to come and stay a while.

Really exited to share one of my FAVES from this year — Fernweh Guided Expeditions. They are such a badass duo who are looking to offer unique travel experiences for folks looking to get out of their daily routine and experience this beautiful earth in a whole new way. They combine adventure, van lifestyle, educations and my personal favorite — connection. It was a blast to put this brand identity together. Cannot wait to see what’s next for them!

for .stories ~ It is always such a great experience to be able to work with a brand to create not only their graphic identity but then to take that to the next level and incorporate it into their digital presence via their website and social media. The amazing photography by Shin Arunrugstichai of made for a really beautiful backdrop so I could be very minimal with text and graphics. The website tells stories of the adventures and the scientific discoveries by the founder Dr. Sammy and his team. So very honored to have been able to work with them and look forward to working with to teams like this in the future!

Recent brand identity design and creative direction for .stories, a media company dedicated to telling compelling stories about the wonders of the natural world. This was such a fun brand identity to craft because the ethos was so rich. The client wanted it to be approachable yet energetic and we achieved this through a balanced use of bright colors with a more neutral warm color palette, hyper legible fonts, and a playful use of the record button and expression of the term “syzygy” itself through the logo. Postcards from Portugal

Y’all, I’m trying. I’m going to have to just make an album on Facebook or Flickr or something haha I have too many. Each week, I spend some time reminiscing on my trips I’ve been on over the last year and I’m just overflowing with gratitude for the life I’m able to lead. This particular photo spoke to me today. I’m embarking on a really deep journey inward, focusing on embracing and enjoying the space of solitude. She sat there for almost an hour as I passed to go to the bridge and back. Her peacefulness was palpable. The journey in can be scary sometimes. But I’m bravely going in anyway. And super grateful for the wisdom of the many who have gone before me. Sending love to anyone who is doing “the work” this season and every season. It’s rough at times but I am assured that it will be oh so worth it. 😽 besos!
