Today has been one of those days where my mind drifts to far away lands. It’s been a crazy past few weeks. My heart and mind have been at a sort of tug of war. My mind races as I think of all I need to do and my heart aches for a life I once dreamed of. Today, I took some time to ground myself in a space of reflection on where I’ve been and where I want to go. This photo reminded me of a time of stillness along the coast of Portugal where I stopped to soak in the ocean mist and dip my toes into the pool designed by a famous architect, Álvaro Siza. I sat on this platform for what felt like hours, eating an ice cream and bearing witness to love, friendship and self-care. People sitting at the edge where rock met ocean being sprayed with saltwater, laughing and steadying themselves against the wind. Friends gathered for a quick lunch as they shared sandwiches and chips. These two took a dip then sat at the edge to dry in the setting sun, just chatting and enjoying the company of one another. I escape into these photos every once in a while to remind me of the beauty beyond my computer. To inspire me to create magic for my clients. And to remind me how alive I feel when I explore somewhere new. The adventure is in nashville now and I’m full time for .creative (wild, I know). I’m so grateful for my many adventures across the globe and I hope for more to come. Until then, I will be traveling back in time every once in a while and sharing it with you all. Sending lots of love and light. 😽 besos!
