A quick note about AI artwork & custom printing 👇
AI is an awesome tool, and I use it in my business all the time. However, when it comes to creating print-ready artwork, AI isn’t always perfect.
I can absolutely print AI-generated designs, but it’s important to understand that moving forward I will print exactly what is provided. If a file is blurry, low resolution, pixelated, has distorted text, or contains other AI-generated errors, those issues will show up in the final print.
I always try my best to make your design look as high-quality as possible before printing. ❤️ However, moving forward, files that require significant cleanup, recreation, or conversion into a print-ready format may be subject to a vectorizing fee.
What is a vectorizing fee?
Vectorizing is the process of manually recreating or converting artwork into a clean, high-resolution format that can be printed without losing quality. This often involves redrawing text, cleaning up edges, correcting AI mistakes, and rebuilding portions of the design so it will print properly.
A quick file review is always free, but if a file requires extensive editing to make it print-ready, I’ll reach out before proceeding with any additional charges.
If you’re unsure about your artwork, send it over! I’d much rather check it beforehand than have you disappointed with the final product. 😊
