It's not every day that one is given the opportunity to support a family member's dream so directly. However, this past weekend, I had the honor of finishing the design work of my own father's website and take it LIVE. 🥹✨

📖 A few things to know about my dad & his story:

He's been a hardworking man since day 1, balancing a full-time position at a factory while serving as a minister in our local church for over 20 years, almost always in multiple volunteer roles simultaneously. Apart from that, he has led my family through times that would have easily shaken the faith and integrity of many while maintaining his character and doing his best for us despite it all. He'd even read novels to my 4 siblings and I well into the night as we would beg him for "just one more chapter". 😅

As the years went on, I remember watching him as he would pour into his writing in his spare time, creating worlds of vivid detail that could captivate any reader and pull them in so deeply they would lose track of time and feel like they knew the characters personally. I learned from him how to love the art of storytelling and to see the beauty of the impact it can have on one's heart and worldview.

That being said, being able to finally give back to the dream he often set aside to help others for so long truly means more than I can say in a little post like this. As a young girl, I couldn't possibly communicate the value of what he had created to the extent that it deserved, but now, as an adult, I'm finally able to design something that can showcase his work and let the world in on the hidden gems he'd been developing quietly over time. 🥹

So, as of Saturday, January 3rd, my first real contribution to his dream has been made public. 🤩

If anyone knows me, they know there are few things I love more than traveling, teaching, forming new friendships, and empowering others to meet their maximum potential. 🤭

This weekend involved ALL of those things, and more! Talk about a WIN! 🥳

More specifically, this weekend involved a 2 hour drive to Thorp, Wisconsin, where I spent both Friday and Saturday educating and empowering this incredible team to reach their digital community with intentionality and purpose.

It wasn't just marketing training. It was the key to unlock endless opportunities to connect their brand to the audience waiting for them. 🙏

Yes, we uncovered the heart of their brand, found strategies that will turn their posts into impact machines, and went in-depth with hands-on application in graphics, custom dashboards, and more...

But what really stood out to me the most was seeing the fire that kindled in their eyes more and more as the weekend went on... A fire of knowing they were about to cross the threshold between the level they had known and the one where people's lives are seriously changed through what they would bring into their world. 🔥

That's the kind of fire that fuels ME and creates such a deep sense of purpose in the work that I do.

It's not just trainings, consultations, workshops, and retreats.

It's not just brand packages, graphics, and social media overhauls...

It's spreading belief in people's capabilities, empowering them to make their impact known, and supporting them on their way to ultimate success.

This is my why, and I love it. ☺️
