Not many people know the why behind my shops name, and I often get asked why Wrenn is spelled the way it is… and I figured today would be the perfect day to explain.
Three years ago today, I gave birth to our angel baby. At 17 weeks we found out something was wrong and that our baby, that we had tried so hard for, was extremely sick. A week later, to the day, I held her in my arms.
We named her Aspen Wrenn. She had an extremely rare condition, trisomy 13. Not many people have heard about it, it isn’t very well known. For the longest time after losing her I floundered. I was emotionally and mentally fried and the only thing that helped was designing. It was an outlet for me and a very welcomed distraction.
When I finally decided to create my own business I named it Blooming Wrenn in honor of my amazingly beautiful daughter. Every piece I make is full of love and is created with her memory. There is never a day I don’t miss my girl, but when I get to design I feel closer to her.
I am so thankful for the opportunities I get to work with each and every one of you. From my family to yours, thank you for your support.
