We're back for Part 3! Hashtags allow you the opportunity to increase your reach with your current marketing strategy! Let me tell you my top tips to get started:

- Try a mixture of hashtag types (Location, Niche & Industry-Based)
- Check to see how many posts are in that exact hashtag & what hashtags are relevant for your brand.
- The right hashtags allow your content to be discoverable by the RIGHT clients. Choose wisely!
- Create your own branded hashtag to use on every post.
- Vary the hashtags used across your content.

According to recent Instagram statistics, posts including at least one hashtag score more engagement than those that feature none! Get hashtagging friends but always remember my Rule of Thumb:

> 1 million = over saturated
100k - 500k = great for discovery
< 10k - 100k = good for niche posts (industry-specific)

First, you need to think about what type of content do you want to share? and what have you shared in the past that got the most engagement?

This is creating your "Marketing Persona". Don't be nervous! This can always be changed as you move forward and see what works best with your followers.
