Efficiency is the most misunderstood word in leadership.

Whether in pastoral ministry or supporting business growth goals, the question never changed:

"How do we help the greatest number of people possible?"

Efficiency became a form of care.

A ruthless ROI on my time. Not because people don't matter, but because they do.

Mundane chores by myself, or bring someone along?
Do I sit in one-on-one meetings all day, or spend equal time equipping volunteers so many more people get cared for?

The math always pointed the same direction: leverage.

But leverage only works if you're willing to step back regularly and audit the system you're running.

Three moves, every time:

1) Diagnose what's working and what isn't.
2) Design something that accomplishes more.
3) Deploy it into daily life.

Same playbook in ministry. Same playbook in business.

This morning, our Founder, Drew Lints, met Colonel Mark Tillman — the pilot of Air Force One on 9/11. His reflections on that day were a powerful reminder of the weight of leadership.

On one of the darkest days in U.S. history, Col. Tillman was responsible for keeping the President safe while the world was changing by the minute. He spoke about clarity, composure, and making decisive calls when information is incomplete and the stakes are immeasurable.
