We didn’t have video calls, but Mom made sure we paid attention in full HD.

The moment those fingers grabbed your chin, you knew this was not a conversation you could ignore.

No buffering.
No muting.
No escaping.

Every lesson came with direct eye contact and a message you remembered for years.

Looking back, it’s funny now.

But those mothers raised a generation that understood respect, responsibility, and consequences.

They were tough when they needed to be, loving when it mattered most, and somehow managed to keep us on the right path.

The technology was different, but the connection was real—and Mom always made sure the signal was strong.
