Soooo.... What Is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing refers to the use of online platforms, technologies, and digital tools to promote products, services, or brands to a targeted audience. Unlike traditional marketing, which often involves physical methods such as print, TV, and radio ads, digital marketing leverages the internet and electronic devices to reach consumers.

Key elements of digital marketing include:

The companies that DO answer questions via FB or Email will be the ones that certainly have a better chance at getting people's business - which equals hard-earned money out of their pocket into your cash register...... why is it so hard to answer a few questions by FB msg/email?.... people that sent you a msg/email wanted to ask you by msg/email... if they wanted to call you on the phone, they would have called you on the phone.... if you don't want people to ask you questions over FB, then please remove the 'Contact Us' button from your FB page.... if you don't want people to ask you questions by email, then please remove your email address from your website.

Helpful Hint:.... Business owners that are posting photos of Items For Sale on FB.... Remember, the majority of people are shopping online b/c they either #1 don't want to go anywhere or #2 they don't want to talk to anyone........ So, when you post an item for sale, make sure you include all the information about the product, the price, the options, and a link to order..... If you just post a photo and state 'call us to order' or 'come on down to the store', well that person is probably going to look elsewhere and then you will continue to wonder why people aren't ordering from you..... and, #3 important side-note - even if a customer thinks and plans on coming to your store for the purchase, either they might forget to go or, in many cases, "life just gets in the way" and they never get to you! (which translates into another lost sale)...... so, having an instant "click to order" process will allow them to purchase right then at the moment that they see your post/item!........ it will only take you a few extra minutes to add that information to your posts - and there are even options that add a post automatically to social media when you add a product to your website/shopping so you kinda kill two birds with one stone - so to speak....... eCommerce is more important now than ever but it must be done 100% to be effective!... yes, it does cost a little bit and does take time, and yes it is a pain in the butt, however, and here is the main point - you have to have the purchasing process the way the customer wants it, or more importantly expects it, not the way you want it or the way that saves you time. --- Joey O'Connor
