Hi friends! The last intention that I'm sharing for this year is something I have been trying to practice recently. I want to be more consistent with sharing on social media. I think people like to see what I make, and it can be helpful/inspirational for future clients to know what my capabilities are. What sorts of things do you want to see from me on social media?

Hi friends! I have really enjoyed sharing my 2026 intentions with you. My fourth intention for the year is to grow my online and wholesale orders. I love the presence that I've been able to establish in my local community, but there's a special joy in sending things I've made to other states and countries. I had the wonderful opportunity last year to partner with small businesses on the east coast to get my products in their storefronts. I would love more opportunities like this!

Hi friends! I am continuing to share my intentions for 2026 as a way to keep myself accountable. My first intention was to make more time for professional networking. The second intention was to work with 5 new (to me) local small businesses. My third intention for the year is to reopen my Etsy shop. I closed my shop after Easter of 2025 because I was feeling really down and overwhelmed. I've been on Etsy for a couple years, and I feel like the platform's support of sellers has gotten progressively worse. However, with some recent leadership changes at the company, I am feeling more hopeful and would like to return. Have you ever shopped on Etsy? Have you sold on Etsy? What has been your experience?

Earlier this week, I mentioned that I would be sharing my intentions for 2026 as a way to keep myself accountable. My first intention was around making more time for professional networking. My second intention is that I want to work with at least 5 new local small business this year. I'm purposely leaving this open - it could include new customers, consignment, and collaborations. I'm really excited to see what will become of this, but I am positive that growing my business needs to include working locally. How do you want to engage with your local community this year?

Hi friends! Yesterday I explained that I would be sharing my small business intentions for 2026. This is as much to hold myself accountable is it is to hopefully inspire others to join me. My first intention for the new year is to spend more time professional networking. Networking has been so good for me in so many ways. It's given me a chance to meet new customers as well as learn from other business owners. It's also given me a stronger sense of community. As someone who works alone, professional networking gives me that social interaction I need but on my terms. I kickstarted this intention already by joining a business networking group this past year, but I want to make dedicating time to this a bigger priority in the new year. If you've ever been interested in joining a business networking group, and you are local to the Willamette Valley, reach out and let me know! I would love to bring you as a visitor to one of our meetings!

Happy New Year, everyone! I took some much-needed time off to spend time with friends and family, as well as relax and recharge. But now I'm ready to get back to it! The start of the year always has me feeling self-reflective, but I hesitate to set goals like I used to. I find that goals can carry a lot of pressure, anxiety, and stress. You feel like a failure when you don't accomplish them, even though there might be external forces outside of your control. This week, I want to share with you my five intentions for my small business this year. I have plans I want to put into place, but I also want to be open to learning things and experiencing growth in ways I hadn't anticipated. Check back throughout this week to see what I have planned. What are you most excited about for this year? What areas do you want to grow in? Is there anything you want to leave behind?
