1️⃣ Open the Google Maps app to access your Google Business Profile, and navigate to the Reviews tab.
2️⃣ Select a review to reply to, and tap “Press and hold to react.”
3️⃣ Choose your emoji from the small popover and tap on the one you want to use.

Just a heads-up: this update is currently only available on the Google Maps app on mobile and isn’t on desktop yet.

Attention Businesses!

The Google Business Profile Messaging feature for Chat and Call History tracking you know and love is saying goodbye on July 31st. But don't worry—customers can still find and contact you using Google Search and Maps through your business profile, website, and other sources! You will still be able to receive calls from your business profile and track other engagement metrics for your business, including web traffic, direction requests, and keyword search terms.

Here's the details:
👉🏽 Google will stop creating new chats after July 15th.
👉🏽 Chat and Call History will completely stop working on July 31st.
👉🏽 Customers with existing chats should have already been notified by Google about this change.

What to do:
👉🏽 Download your chat history before July 31st to keep a record of conversations (using Google Takeout).
👉🏽 Give your customers an option for a new preferred way to chat.
