Thats exactly what we did with for their brand, and more specifically this brand mark. They came to us wanting to refine their brand to reflect them as a brand and business.

After going through our strategy and design process we are coming out on the other end with a brand that is more sophisticated, modern, and whimsical—just like the owner and their story front.

I’ve been a little quiet on insta recently (aka this month). Most of my energy has been going into client work, which has left social media on the back burner. BUT it’s been an exciting month and it feels good to take breaks from time to time. So here are my top August 2021 highlights to catch you up to speed.

+ I celebrated my 28th birthday!

+ Webber, and I moved into a new apartment!

+ I’ve been working on a lot of really fun projects! Like a brand identity and web design for a home decor + gift shop for the plant obsessed (shoutout ) and collaborating on a few websites with my design buddy
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ I hit my goal of booking my fall availability out in advance. This is a huge win for me as I started this journey to not only pursue my passion, but to use my time and talents to help other entrepreneurs succeed. Shoutout to all my amazing and fun clients I get to work with this fall! I truly CANNOT wait!

A look at the custom type we created for

The customization within the letters are subtle and picked up subconsciously. They make you feel a certain way—give you a sense of intrigue. They represent Botanical Dwelling’s uniqueness and invite people to figure out what they are all about.

Doesn't it make sense to use a variation of something perfectly than to use one thing imperfectly multiple times?

Thats where secondary and tertiary logos come in handy—for different use cases while building a strong brand.

Again, you can see the custom take on the hyphen but in a different orientation.

A benefit to using your full logo suite is that it creates variation in consistency which builds recognition and trust with your audience.

This is the primary logo we created for .heartedmedia

The midline of the “H” is elongated into the hyphen between “lion” and “hearted.” Hyphens are used to communicate connection between two words or ideas! It shows that there is a partnership—two things working together. And that is exactly what LHM is for their clients.

Primary logos have so many use cases, here are just a few... letter heads, business cards, merch, packaging, and email signatures

Behind the bee of Honey Bee Home 🐝

Shop owner, Katy's, mom was a collector of many things including bee keeper items. She would collect old wood and leather smokers, vintage glass honey jars and little wooden honey dippers. Her grandkids also called her Bebe.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She was always busy as a bee which she passed onto to Katy as well. Sadly, she is no longer with us, but her memory lives on in spirit and within the
