We want our citizens and visitors safe, and flash flooding has forced temporary road closures in several areas. Please be extra cautious and DO NOT drive around barricades — they’re there to protect you.

• Willow Pond @ Hwy. 19

Tonight as we all get ready to “hit the hay” to rest up for work tomorrow, let’s make sure we are all staying weather aware. There is a strong and potentially dangerous line of storm systems headed our way, expected to hit in the wee morning hours.⛈️☔️

This makes it hard to know what’s happening outside. While these things don’t always hold together as they pass over us, we shouldn’t let down our guards. It is always much better to be prepared JUST IN CASE.⚠️

We all know how unprecedented and unpredictable the weather has been since hurricane season, and Mother Nature lately has made some VERY last minute changes, so be sure you have a way to receive weather alerts.‼️‼️Property can be replaced but lives cannot. Have a safe night everyone!🤝🏼
