For the first time, we’re opening ASCOT early. From now until December 31, 2025, save $50 on regular Taste entry fees and lock in reduced rates across categories.

There can only be one ultimate winner, and this year’s 2025 “Best in Show” Grand Prize winner is Lasso Motel 18 Year American Straight Whiskey.

From the judges: “Vanilla cream, sweet tea, caramel drizzle and subtle chocolate dominate the palate! The flavors linger while a rye spice slowly builds along the mid and back palate. A great flavor bomb of a whiskey!”

The 2025 ASCOT Medal Winners have been announced! What a competition we had this year! More entries, a mix of veteran, staple products versus up and coming brands, and the best Council of Tasters in the world means excited results everyone wants to see!

The first round of medals have been rewarded, but we still have the category finalists to announce, as well as the ASCOT Finals taste-offs to determine Best In Category and the Whiskey and Non-Whiskey of the Year, as well as the ultimate prize: ASCOT ‘Best in Show’ 2025.
