For over six years, I’ve had the honor of working alongside Ted — and I don’t say that lightly.
What started as a project turned into a real-deal partnership built on trust, creativity, and a shared love for rock ‘n’ roll. From day one, I knew Ted wasn’t just running a show — he was carrying a legacy.
The Rock Professor isn’t a persona.
It’s who he is.
The stories.
The deep cuts.
The way he connects decades of music like it all happened last night at the Troubadour.
Our recent revamp of therealtedmckay.com wasn’t about flash. It was about feel. We wanted the site to sound like him — smooth, authentic, vinyl-warm. More of what people already love about The Rock Professor: the history between the records, the laid-back delivery, the sense that you’re not just listening… you’re hanging out.
We strengthened the streaming.
We cleaned up the flow.
We made it easier to tune in and stay awhile.
You can catch Ted broadcasting in full 128db glory on Tuesdays and Saturdays — the way radio was meant to be heard. Turn it up and let it breathe.
And if you want more, his podcast Hanging Out with Ted McKay is streaming on Spreaker:

Same vibe. Same stories. Just press play.
We even tucked a little merch corner into the site — low key, no neon signs flashing. Just some Rock Professor pieces for the ones who live loud, spin vinyl, and know the difference between a hit… and a classic.
No hard sell.
Just rock ‘n’ roll you can wear.
Six years in, and I’m still grateful. Still inspired. Still blessed to help amplify a voice that means something.
Ted — thank you for trusting me with your sound, your platform, and your story.
We’re just getting warmed up.
Turn it up. 🎙️🎸
