The things we have to do to save money as photographers…

My daughter recording me getting flowers off the high way for the shoot thats been in my head for 2 years was bot in my bingo card at 8pm.

Craziness…but if you want it go get huh?!?! 😂

I’m movin slow because I’m praying I don’t see a snake…Chile that grass was tall. Fortunately the very edge of it had what I needed.😬😬😬

Late night self portrait shoot. Definitely not easy, but working connect on my cell to control my camera…this shoot was absolutely possible.

All the kiddos are sleep and I had this shoot in my head for about 2 years. It seems to be even more important for me to do it because you never know what God has in store on the other side of that creative idea.

God is dealing with me about my excuses and on my down time I want to get sharper and push out these creative ideas Ive had for years.

Oh yeah, I was on the side of the road after 8pm getting flowers because my budget was not in order for roses. I have all that I need and that includes wildflowers outside lol. When I say the Lord is doing abwork lol me in grass would’ve been a quick no a few years ago.

Right when I get in the groove my battery died. Just a few more then on to finish edits for a recent shoot and both my sons graduation pics.

Just a peak into what goes on before a shoot.

We are going to pray and command this day frfr!

Not captured is the early morning wake up and getting all 5 kids off to school.

The moments of capturing the intrusive thoughts the enemy tries to bring and casting down fear.

On shoot days we wear black baby and with a classic red lippy who doesn’t love it.

Shoot Aftercare Convo.

I generally have these conversations with God and write down in a journal how each shoot went. Some are frustrating, tearful, and some are just hyped y'all.

I get nervous before every shoot.

I moved in faith on this shoot as God was continually showing me my name is going forth. I wanted to be so intentional.

I stuck to the lighting and I believe that's where I want to keep it. I love some mood and shadows y'all.

I am God-taught in photography and with that being said it has been a journey. I hope to share more along the way, but the high from yesterday is still here.

is one of those clients you love because she says I trust you and just do whatever. She was open and all I asked was for her to bring that personality and delivered.

Sending her the gallery the Lord told me to put "Tae the Mogul" not knowing that was something He had already whispered to her.

Yesterday the Lord kept saying "Real time blessings". I'm excited for her because people are witnessing what the Lord is doing in her life in real time. Honestly, many of our lives too.

Not to show out, but to give Him all the glory and honor.

Who's next?... Let's go.

Today's shoot was one to remember with of . I can not wait to share more, but her raw reaction to the shots we captured was 🥹🙏🏾🌹.

In my prayer time this morning I asked that He would allow me to capture exactly what He wanted that aligns with her next. Every detail came together by His will. I give all glory to God.

When God says it’s time to shift creatively & you hesitate. Don’t get caught up! Get up!
Kingdom Creative, An old idea in a new season is not a good look. Elohim is the original creator and designer. There’s a blessing on the other side of that obedience. Delayed obedience os still disobedience Creative. Trust me I know. Don’t get mad when you see that idea God gave you on your timeline being executed by someone else.

Trust me I’ve fumbled too.

We move differently in the kingdom economy and when He says shift…go on ahead. Do it afraid, but do it.

Create in the Chaos… when I received that prophetic word…I broke down 2 Sundays ago.

Reality hit me.

There really isn’t going to be a perfect time to create what He has called you to.

I can tell you life will happen during the same time He calls you to do it.

The miscarriage.
The stillborn.
The divorce.
The job loss.

Yet and still Elohim, the Creator of all, calls us to create in the chaos.

No matter the noise whether that’s outside or even in your own home….Create what He is calling you to.

I could only imagine what it looked like as He created the earth…what a beautiful chaos it was.

Trust Him.

Create.

Shoes tied.
Hair flipped.
Shirts tucked.

It's the details that matter.

Whether 1 or 6, I'm going to get in there and fix some things lol.

This past Friday I served in photography for my churches Ordination & Affirmation service. Absolutely a powerful service.

My go to lenses were the RF Canon 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm 1.4 lenses.

From wide to detail shots the gang worked well.

I got a bit of grain in one of my favorite shots.

But hey. No pain no grain lol

No flash this time either. I wanted to keep the integrity of the scene so i opted for primes. I love to capture the depth of the light and shadows as much as possible.

My favorite part was the laying on of hands. Absolutely powerful and such a blessing to witness the monumental moment in each individuals life.
