This weekend I put the paint down, and took a little road trip to honor my brother for his bachelor party. My current mural project is centered around nature, so it was nice to actually step into it for a bit. We hit the lake, attempted to fish…for the love of all things holy I want to learn how…kayaked and just reconnected off grid for the most part.

Now I’m back at it to push to the finish line on my current project.

The past couple days I put my paints and my projects on hold…partially thanks to the rain…and spent the new connecting. First I met with the Scott Biggers VP of creative for the Texas Rangers ⚾️ which was an incredible meetup.

Following that I made my way up to grapevine to attended Circles Conference for the third year in a row. Definitely one of my favorite conferences. There I connected with as many people as I could including chris david g a fellow Texan who is doing big things in Htown betweeen his agency and his own conference focused on creative in sports. This dude is beyond inspiring.

And of course I had to get a pic of one my my former Schaefer Advertising colleagues Charlie Howlett who ran one of the workshops. Charlie was one of my local design heroes back in the day, and although we didn’t work long together I learned a great deal from him. Let’s grab lunch soon man… maybe I can convince you to finally give me the agency you’re 😁

It’s been a wild ride! Between layoffs, and launching this design studio I’ve had an insane 2025! Excited for 2026! I’m just getting started over here! 😁
