Today would have been Tim's and my 53rd anniversary. God had different plans for both of us. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." I have been so blessed. The Lord used Tim's past to help others and save lives before he passed. Our experiences help me incredibly in our ministry work at the prison often using those experiences. "Stay in the Now, Now!" Don't go future tripping." "Get connected everyday. " "Did you ask God for help? Well now trust Him and let Him do His job." "Make a meeting every day." Makes me smile often. Today I go to a service for a dear friend's husband who passed suddenly and unexpectedly this week. She is a wise, strong woman and I want to be there as she begins this new journey. Many memories have been flooding in. Embracing the good memories help bring me back to the presnt. Stay in the now. Bob Hope used to end his show with "Thanks for the memories." Thank you Jesus for the time you leant me to have Tim in my life. I know he was always yours and is with you now.
