Who was Angie Stone? Well, it wouldn't be easy to answer this in a few words! Angie was a breath of fresh air and a beacon of light in the music/entertainment industry.

Many may not know that Angie was at the forefront of rap music being a member of the late 70s group "The Sequence". Their hit 1979 song, "Funk You Up" became one of the earliest rap/hip-hop songs by a female group. Simply stating that The Sequence was the first female rap group!

Angie has contributed so much to the music industry and was also considered to have given birth to 90s Neo-Soul. She was truly a talent that could only be described as genius and legendary.

There are rappers, singers, musicians, and then there was Angie! She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and fans all over the world. We thank you Ms. Angie, our soul-sista #1!

Tax season is in full-effect now, and Miss Toya is here for you! I began my tax preparation career in 2006, and was just a young, single-mom trying to generate an extra income to provide for my family.
