Grateful beyond words for everyone who showed up to celebrate another year of life, love, and becoming. 🤍
This birthday was a full-circle moment — honoring the past, releasing what no longer serves me, and dancing forward with the people who matter most. From cocktails at home to burning an old wedding dress, from a party bus full of brides to a beautiful dinner at the , and ending the night dancing at the Rattlesnake… every moment was magic because of you. Love and friendship are the real vows worth keeping. Thank you for reminding me that joy multiplies when shared, and that chosen family is everything. ✨

PARENTING: Everyone has something to say about it, everyone is eager to give unsolicited advice, and everyone thinks they can do it better than you. But on a recent trip to visit some friends I was reminded a very important lesson: You need to parent your kids however YOU deem best. I personally try to be as authentic as possible with my kiddo: I don’t lie to her, I don’t make it easy on her, and I don’t treat her like half a human. We also have a lot of fun together and we are learning to communicate better with each passing day. Am I a little rough around the edges? Probably. But I adore my daughter, she is the best thing I’ve ever done, and I’m quite proud of the fun-loving, adventurous, and kind-hearted woman she has become! She is turning 18 in less than 2 weeks and I cannot wait to see what this little dynamo is about to do with her life. Mommy loves you, pumpkin!

PS. We are good, everybody else is doing it wrong! 😜😘🫶 I love our babies and our friendship so much! .hufstedler

Oh, and you can never have enough sunrises and sunsets - it’s like watching God’s miracle of creation unfold before your eyes every day. 🌅

Vote, baby, vote. 🇺🇸

I think it is obvious how I voted (hopefully IG doesn’t shadow ban me for it) but here are a few disclaimers:
Aside from the Economy, gun rights, and immigration, I actually lean democratic on most other issues. I’m not a Trump fan, quite honestly, I dislike the guy. But, I have solid past behavioral data on what I can expect of him with regard to the top 3 most important to me topics (from his presidency). I also have behavioral data about what I can expect from Harris (from her vice-presidency). Hence my vote. What either of them say to try to convince me to vote for them is inconsequential to me. Do I care about abortion? Yes, I do! But if I can’t afford to even go on a date, that’s the bottom of my worries right now. Do I care about import tariffs? You bet! But if I can’t even pay my electricity - I most certainly won’t be buying chachkis from China. Do I care about LGBTQ issues. Hell yeah. But if I can’t pay my gym membership, does it matter if they have an extra bathroom? Do I care about democracy: sure do. But I want to be able to defend myself against a tyrannical government, no matter what color its ballot was.

You catch my drift. My point is: regardless of how you chose to vote today, please respect my choice. Please don’t call me N**i, racist, homophobic, insensitive, close-minded, greedy, privileged, or misogynistic. I think it is obvious I am not. Let’s be nice and civil and whoever comes on top this year - let’s support them and try to do our best to fix this mess…

Had a fun Saturday at with my girls and 🫶❤️ After not shooting for a few years (aside from this Tactical Games type match Tes talked me into last year), this was a rather humbling reminder that skill doesn’t just miraculously come back and materialize out of your imagination! 😂 Felt slow, rusty, confused and altogether out of the “swing of things”. Oh well, could have been worse! I had fun with awesome people, remembered how much I enjoy this, and to my surprise - discovered my body actually remembers random s**t like stance, sight picture, trigger control, safety, and reloading on the move. Now, if we could just do all that a lot faster, that would be great! 🤪🤣🤦🏻‍♀️
Thanks to everyone that came out to play in the TX heat at my local steel match. See ya’all next time. 🫶
