Coming soon: I try to have a new creative side project every 2-3 years. My intent is to 1) learn a new skill 2) meet new people 3) help people. I've kicked around a few topics over the last year and the common thread has been FAMILY.

February 1st, I'll be sharing a little more information about my next side project. I'm excited about it because it's an opportunity to help families become closer by serving people who identify as male.

As our own family grows and my FT job becomes more demanding, it gets harder and harder to find margin for this kind of work. My hope is that by focusing on this topic, it will be worthwhile and help me improve too! I also think the business potential is promising, something I could make my life's work.

Writing has always been a fun outlet for me, but I tend to ruin hobbies by making them my jobs. I started a newsletter a couple months ago to make writing a fun ritual, rather than work. Ridge Road is that newsletter, a really simple breakdown of business news.

Btw, this is not the startup I have spoken to some of you about. That's probably another year before it's ready to launch.
