Today would have been my Baba’s 97th birthday. 🤍

She was born in a time when women weren’t handed opportunities, they created them quietly, courageously, and without recognition.

No titles.
No spotlight.
No permission.

And yet… they led.

They built families, traditions, resilience, and strength that would carry generations forward.

Women like my Baba didn’t just shape our lives - they laid the foundation for the lives we get to live today.

The opportunities we have in 2026 didn’t just appear.

They were built on the backs of women who showed up every single day, did the hard things, and made something out of very little.

Always Wear Gold is my way of honoring that.

It’s a tribute to her legacy, her lessons, and the impact she made, not just on me, but on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Today, I’m asking you to join me in celebrating her.

In honor of Baba’s birthday, I invite you to honor your grandmother - whether she’s still with you or watching over you.

The woman who shaped you.

The one who made you feel safe, strong, or seen.

The one whose influence still shows up in your life today.

The best way I know how to honor them is to continue their stories.

If her legacy lives in you, this book will resonate with you. 🤍

✨ Purchase Always Wear Gold today
✨ Gift it to someone who reminds you of her
✨ Or simply take a moment to reflect on the woman who helped make you who you are

And if you feel called to share - tell me about her in the comments. I would love to hear her name and her story.

Because women like them deserve to be remembered. Always.

I’ve always believed the best moments in life happen around a table - great conversation, great people, and a great glass of wine.

So I decided to make it official.

I’m excited to share that I passed the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. 🍷

For me, wine has never just been about what’s in the glass (although to me that matters!) it’s about the experience it creates. The stories behind it, the people you share it with, and the memories made around it.

Cheers to learning something new, deepening a passion, and continuing to create experiences worth savoring.

I wrote Always Wear Gold to honor the lessons we inherit - the ones that live in our voice, our confidence, and how we show up in the world.

Receiving a message like this from a reader reminded me that stories don’t just get read…
They get felt.

If you love stories about resilience, family, leadership, and the quiet power of women who leave a lasting mark, I hope this book finds you at the right time.

Have you ever heard a song and without warning you’re back?

Back in the car you drove in college.
Back in the kitchen you danced in.
Back in a season of life you haven’t thought about in years.

I can hear a song for the first time in 30 years and somehow know every single word. I can’t tell you what I had for lunch yesterday… but music? Music remembers me.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Experiences work the same way.

When you create an experience - for your team, your clients, your community. That’s intentional and personal and emotionally resonant, people don’t just remember what happened.

They remember how they felt.

I was speaking at an office this summer, and the woman who introduced me shared something that stopped me cold. She said she had read my book and remembered experiences I had created over a decade ago - experiences she personally attended 10 years or more before she read my book.

She didn’t remember:
• who spoke at that particular conference
• where they went to dinner
• the agenda or the details

But she remembered the feeling I created.
And in that moment, she was transported right back to it.

Music and experiences.
Two things with an unparalleled ability to anchor memory, emotion, and connection.

And yet… we keep prioritizing the wrong details.

What would change if we stopped asking “What do we want them to see?”
and started asking “How do we want them to feel?”

Cookie Baking | January 2026 🍪

I met these women in the fall of 2001.
I was a student at La Salle University, pledging Gamma Phi Beta, while also being a resident assistant—trying to find my footing, my people, my place.

When I walked into the room, two potential pledges looked at me… then at each other… and thought - We will never be friends with her. She’s nothing like us. But they stayed anyway. And we became inseparable.

Funny how life works.

Twenty-four years later, these same women are my family.
Their spouses are my family.
Their children are my nieces and nephews.

What started years ago as a simple idea—let’s bake cookies so the kids can play—has grown into something far deeper. A tradition. A rhythm. A constant.

Now it happens twice a year.
The kids pile in, laughing like no time has passed.
The dads head to the bar to catch up.
The moms stay back, baking cookies, playing old playlists, talking about life, and laughing alot.
No agenda. No performance. Just together.

I never dreamed this would become one of the cornerstones of my life.
It’s one of my favorite days of the year.
One of the kids’ favorite days too.
(And yes… I think the dads love it just as much.)

This is what I believe—personally and professionally:

Relationships aren’t built in moments of perfection.
They’re built in traditions.
In showing up.
In creating spaces where people feel like they belong.

This is why I do the work I do.
Why I believe experiences matter more than branding.
Why I help organizations stop chasing impressions and start creating connection.

Because people don’t remember what you say.
They remember how you made them feel.
And if you’re lucky… they keep coming back for decades.

Some experiences are small.
Some are simple.
And some change your life forever.

This one did. 🤍

What’s next is being built now

New year.
New space.
New chapter.

I’m proud of what I built this past year - two books, new frameworks, deeper conversations, and real momentum.

But what excites me most is what’s unfolding now.

Behind the scenes, I’m rebuilding more than a workspace - I’m reimagining how my work shows up in the world, and how people experience it.

The next chapter goes deeper than marketing.
Deeper than branding.
It’s about experiences - the kind that change how people feel, decide, and commit.

If you know your business has outgrown transactional thinking…
If you believe your clients deserve more than “good enough”…
If you’re ready to build something intentional - not loud…

Then stay close.

I’m opening the doors soon.

Environment is strategy

I don’t design spaces to look good.
I design them to do something.

A new office isn’t about aesthetics it’s about alignment.

Every detail is intentional, because the space you work in quietly teaches you how to think:

• What you focus on
• What you tolerate
• What you believe is possible

My new space is being built for deep thinking.
Honest conversations.
Creative risk.
And ideas that don’t fit inside small boxes.

Because the work I’m doing now — and the work I’m being asked to lead — requires room to breathe.

Your brand isn’t just what you say.
It’s what people feel when they enter your world.

Progress that speaks for itself

This time last year, I had published zero books.
Zero.

Today, I’ve written and published two - No One Needs Another Company Mug and Always Wear Gold.

Not because it was easy.
Not because the timing was perfect.
And not because everything felt certain.

It happened because I stopped waiting for clarity and started building anyway - one page, one decision, one brave step at a time.

This year asked me to trust the work before the results.
To focus on depth over noise.
And to choose intention over urgency.

Growth doesn’t always announce itself while it’s happening.
But when you pause and look back… it’s undeniable.

Almost four decades of friendship.
Hundreds of miles between us.
And somehow, the moments only get richer.

Stephanie and I only see each other 2–3 times a year - so when we do, we go big.

Savannah adventures with bubbly bars and psychic visits.
Atlanta staycations with unforgettable food and nonstop laughter.
Home in Philly with endless bubbles, deep conversation, and one of my favorite tables in the city.

This is what I believe at my core - and what I’ve written about in my books No One Needs Another Company Mug and Always Wear Gold:

Relationships don’t thrive on frequency.
They thrive on intentional moments.

You don’t build loyalty with things.
You build it with care, presence, and experiences that make people feel seen.

Whether it’s friendship, family, or business - the moments you create become the legacy you leave.

Here’s to friendships that span decades, distance, and chapters… and still feel like home. 🥂✨

Every Christmas, I do this.
OPI Big Apple Red.

Not because it’s festive, but because it’s hers.

My Baba’s nails (and toes) were almost always painted red.
Big Apple Red, specifically.
Because Poppy loved it.
(Always Wear Gold - page 123)

Some traditions aren’t loud.
They’re quiet acts of remembering.
A color. A ritual. A moment where she feels close again.

This book holds her stories.
But this polish?
This is muscle memory. ❤️

Always Wear Gold isn’t just something I wrote — it’s something I live.

Last month at our BW NICE Chapter’s Leadership Thanksgiving Dinner, something unexpected, and deeply meaningful, happened.

Each woman received a red shoe ornament with her name and a single word chosen just for her.

Mine said: Experiences.

Of all the words in the world, that’s the one she chose for me.

And it hit me in a way that was so powerful.

Because to me, experiences aren’t decorations.
They are the strategy.
The connection point.
The difference-maker.
The thing that turns customers into loyal advocates…
and women into empowered leaders…
and communities into places of safety, impact, and joy.

And there, in a room of women supporting one another - someone saw me the way I hope to be seen:

As the person who creates, champions, and teaches experiences that make people feel valued.

This little red shoe will hang on my tree as a reminder of why I do this work.

Why experiences matter.

And why I will forever be committed to helping organizations rethink the way they show up for their people and their clients.

If your company, team, chapter, or conference is ready to elevate how you connect, engage, and lead - I’d be honored to bring the AMPLIFY Method™ to your audience.

Because no one remembers the swag bag.
They remember how you made them feel.
