Gradient fiber update!

I reorganized the shop a bit so gradient colorways have their own listings organized by fiber type.

Webshop update season is here! I was able to get some semisolids listed this evening and will be adding variegated yarns throughout the week.

I've added a clearance section to the shop! I've reduced the price of single braid fibers and anything that's been around too long.

Also, the price of cashmere has increased significantly, and though I love the MCN base I use, I haven't decided if I will continue to stock it.

This past week Chez Play - a little camping (headphones required for fire and screaming frog audio!), a lot of inventory, and very little "job" knitting.

The webshop inventory is updated, but I have a lot of new stuff to photograph. I'll be back at the dye pots tomorrow and will be updating stock as it's ready to go. I'd love to figure out how to get a "notify me!" button in the shop to automatically let people know when things are back in stock, but Shopify does seem to like to make users buy add-ons for what I think is a normal shop tool.

Thank you to the organizers, and everyone that shopped and visited this weekend at

MASW was my first "away" show. They welcomed us and our kids and even when the weather was less than ideal (it snowed one year!) it was always worth the trek from the coast to the mountains.

Spoils from the fair - Teeswater from Wind Ridge Farm, Finn from Walking Cloud Farm, and Romney from Consolati Farm. I'm hoping these will become a stripey vest.

I also got runner up in the social media contest! As a city kid that didn't take part in 4H, sports, Girl Scouts or any ribbon-earning activities, this is especially exciting.

Day 2 at looks a little different in Barn 1. The roof has a bit of a leak so we moved things around to avoid the worst of the deluge and repurposed the clearance bin to catch the drips.

Mr Play is on bailing duty until 4pm to keep the booth as dry as possible!
