Recently, we were made aware about our small business getting criticized because I didn’t carry a specific product they were looking for mind you we had already sold out on it. What really bothered me wasn’t that they had an opinion—it was the way they chose to bash someone else’s business while they are small business owners themselves.
As small business owners, we should understand better than anyone how much work, sacrifice, money, time, and heart goes into building something from the ground up. Not every business is going to have every product, and that’s okay. You can simply say, “They don’t carry what I’m looking for,” and keep it moving.
What’s disappointing is seeing people publicly praise God for their blessings while privately tearing down other people’s hard work. You don’t have to tear someone else down to make your own business look better.
I’m not going to respond with negativity or bash anyone’s business, because I know the work and dedication it takes to run one. I’ll continue focusing on Yummylicious Treats, improving, creating, serving our customers, and being grateful for every single person who supports us. ❤️
At the end of the day, **there’s room for all of us to succeed.** Support, encourage, and if you don’t like something, simply keep it moving. 🙏🏽✨
