With a bittersweet twist to the past few years of learning to run my own design business at the start of covid, completing my degree and transitioning in life I have taken on a full-time role as the Website & Graphic Design Manager for Special Olympics Colorado. As a designer, I must admit that nothing pleases me more than when a client has put together an excellent Pinterest board. I ask clients to provide me with one as the first section in my brand questionnaire so I can visually see where they're at and it's how I can say I ✨read minds✨

No one likes crappy surprises when they are investing their hard earned cash into a paid service.

Recently I've had multiple people tell me they've worked with designers who didn't understand what they were looking for and they felt like they wasted time & money and have to start over with someone new.

Here's the truth: That's a red flag to us pro designers! Often it means to us that you don't value our expertise and think that shortcuts will do just fine.

Did you know that March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination?

On this day in 1960 - 69 people were shot & killed by police at a peaceful demonstration in Sharpeville, South Africa. The peaceful demonstration was against the apartheid "pass laws."

Racial discrimination STILL happens all over the world and by being kind to one another, listening to each other's stories, and standing up against racism whenever we see it - we can work to eliminate it once and for all.
