There is no shortage of new labels in the 2026 electronic space. But ones that live up to the hype they arrived with? That consistently deliver new and exciting projects?

That’s rare.

That makes .records, a label that’s defining “future sound,” a unicorn in the space. One with three horns that releases really progressive bass music.

With a roster that includes names like , , and , the spiritually experimental collective has been one to watch. But it’s not so much the artists that make them such a marvel as much as it is the music.

Although the sonic architecture of 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 is ever-changing, the nature of their stewards seem to gravitate to a core frequency, one that is carried from one release to the next.

How they accomplish this ethos, we’re not sure, but we’re keen to find out, through their live demonstration at Meow Wolf this weekend.
