27 weeks with our baby BOY! 💙 thank you so much for all of your love and messages. my cup is still pouring over with gratitude that we are adding another little love to our family, and that Atlas Ford is going to have a baby BROTHER! truly a dream come true for this mama’s heart. next up, third trimester, ready or not (and we are definitely not) here we come 🤪👶🏻💙..

guys, it’s been a hard week with a lot of growing pains. I don’t like being negative, but I like being honest, and that’s what my truth looks like today...
I know joy always comes in the morning, and I know clarity will come soon too. so for now I’m going to be grateful for a cozy Sunday night with Nick, and for Village Inn Restaurants ‘s online ordering and delivery so I can stay in bed 🙌🏼

this is what brings me joy, and that's not something I used to be proud of. I’ve felt shame answering the question, “what do you do?”..
maybe because if you had asked me if I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom a year ago, I would have answered with a hard no. maybe because even though I work from home as much as Atlas allows, I still didn't have that title, that status, that salary...
I was slapping value's nametag in all the wrong places. comparing my season to someone else’s that didn't look anything like mine...⠀
it's a game of tug of war. I want to be home with Atlas, and still make money doing the work I do. I want to be the one to put him down for naps, and I want to help provide financially for him to have a great life...
but it's hard. being mom, stay-at-home, working full-time, part-time. it's a never ending feeling of being pulled in opposite directions and I don't know if that ever goes away because for me, it hasn't...⠀
can any of you mamas relate?? 😭💛
