Bead story: Rescued spiny oyster shells from the thrift, Raku balls from CO artist, African trading bead rescued from junk jewelry jar, agate that looks like ocean, turquoise and coral shell inlay bead from Kathmandu, sterling tube, Chinese turquoise chunks from closed down mine I can't remember, metallic fabric bead from co quilt artist, small African trading beads pulled from my 40 year hoard, and the handmade by me beads. Clasp big and funky since you can see it on the back of my neck thanks to my menopause fauxhawk.

Creative Brain = Hoarder of Scraps. Working on a necklace with a stunning strand of natural spiny oyster shells I thrifted and even though I have oodles of beads in my hoard I was "missing" a bead for this piece. If you're a fellow bead stringer you feel my pain! 🤣. Inspired by the fabulous art bead my mom found me from a local artist 15 years ago that is going into the necklace, I decided to make the "missing" bead. Well if you're a crafter you can guess what my kitchen counter quickly turned into... They actually turned out pretty cool. And I justified my need to keep every scrap of my mom's vintage, discontinued fibers. Ya never know when you're gonna need them to upcycle an old denim shirt into beads.

Are you a fellow small business owner getting these scammy Google Business Profile Calls? Ah hell I'm trying to keep it professional and positive out here on social, but these fear mongering scammers tick me right off. Also, posting on a Friday at 4:30 MST not the best but I'm trying the "just fricken do it" style social media.

Now back to the scam calls - There's no shame if you've fallen for it or been triggered. Triggers me every damn time. Sharing this video because I hear clients all the time being afraid of "if they're doing it right". First thing - you're Google Business Profile is probably just fine. And if it's not? No problem. It's just a marketing task on the to do list and totally check-off-able.

NO KINGS. NO WAR. FK ICE. Leslie always knows the place to be. Swung by to snag a free screen print on our shirts and poster/sign! They printed 800 signs for today's March and had a line out the door 20min after opening today of people getting their stuff screen printed for free. Good people doing kickass work.

My neighborhood is nuts already for the March and protest. 50k expected. If you're planning on coming down, use public trans! There's no parking.

Got up to make a second cup of coffee cuz draggin' buns this morning and came back to find Finn's in the same mood I am 🤣 He's like "I'm about to be 11 mom I don't know WHAT your excuse is! Get to the office and start bringin' home the bacon treats!"

I have laptop bag, I combed my fauxhawk... Seriously it's so weird. Every time a to go cup. I want the cutie stay here cup! Is it because my resting b***h face needs work and they want me to go? Starting to get a complex 🤣🤣🤣 New coffee shop in a cute apartment complex with parking sent me a free coffee postcard so had to check it. I'll have to come back with my wallet and test my theory.

Found a kickass way to upcycle my concert tee from the boot lickin' 💕💕💕 Denver artist (tiktok) popped up in Cheeseman Park and was stamping whatever you brought for $15 and donating $5 to immigration law charity. Art as activism. Use your voice.
