As our OOO break comes to a close, we wanted to wrap up our spotlight series by celebrating local innovation and fresh thinking right here in Colorado.

Meet Sphere of Six. The app helps people discover businesses based on personal referrals rather than anonymous online reviews or paid ads. It also gives service providers a way to grow their business by leveraging their existing relationships and word-of-mouth reputation.

Our OOO time continues this week, and while we're offline resting up, we're keeping our online focus on sharing do-good organizations with everyone we know.

Meet the Colorado Spellers Collective I S2C Services. They use Spelling to Communicate (S2C) services to help nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking individuals express their thoughts, ideas, and choices. Their motor-based communication approach helps clients develop pathways for intentional spelling and communication.

CauseRoads is offline for the next couple of weeks, but this isn’t your typical OOO message.

We're trying to do things a little differently with CauseRoads, so our time away is going to be spent amplifying some do-good businesses we've gotten to know that are making a real impact across Colorado.

Meet the Ember Center. They are a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by providing free, confidential support to survivors and their families. Their services include emergency shelter, community and legal advocacy, trauma-informed therapy, crisis support, and safety planning.

It’s also been a great way to make new connections and meet some great people.
