Amplified Communications

Amplified Communications Strategic communications for consequential work.

05/23/2026

We’ve been quiet over here.
Not because nothing is happening.

Because a lot is happening, and sometimes the work needs your full attention before it needs your announcement.

Amplified has been building, moving, listening, showing up, and getting in the right rooms.

On June 2, we’ll be in Bethesda leading The Message Gap for the U.S. Breastfeeding Committee, with Tamra Hardy and Stephanie Durr co-facilitating alongside us.

On June 10, we’ll be at Velocity in Sterling Heights with Chase Bank, leading a workshop on AI, narrative, and storytelling, helping entrepreneurs and business owners think through how to leverage AI to tell their company story with clarity, strategy, and soul.

We’re also planning and hosting MADE: A Builder’s Symposium later this summer, and we cannot wait to share more.

Ignite Institute’s Board of Directors is locked in.

The Advisory Council is forming.

We are in beta with the Ignite app.

And Amplified Studio has officially launched as a new arm of Amplified, created to make website creation and deployment more accessible, more strategic, and more affordable for builders who need to show up well without getting buried by the process.

We’ve also been deepening real relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce, because the work we’re called to do cannot just look good online. It has to be rooted somewhere. It has to touch real people, real businesses, and real community.

So yes, the timeline has been a little quiet.

But the work has not been still.

We are building capacity.
We are strengthening infrastructure.
We are making room for what is next.

More soon.

Happy Mother’s Day from Amplified.

Today we honor the mothers who carry strength with grace, wisdom with warmth, and love with a kind of consistency that shapes everything around them.

You are builders.
You are stabilizers.
You are leaders.
You are the voice, the vision, the care, and the courage behind so much that lasts.

We celebrate who you are and all that you carry.

With gratitude,
Amplified

You know the science. You wrote the brief. You have revised the talking points more times than you can count.

And the legislator still cut the line item. The mother still chose formula. The funder still passed.

This field does not have an awareness problem. It has a translation problem. And the cost of that gap is no longer abstract. The dollars are tighter. The skeptics are louder. The room you most need to reach is the one that does not already share your conviction.

Translation is a skill. Which means it can be built.

The Message Gap is a working room. Not a panel. Not a lecture. One day with a framework, your real work, and your hardest audience. You leave with a rebuilt message, a specific ask, a peer holding your commitment, and a sentence about your own communications you could not have written that morning.

Three weeks ago we gathered a room of entrepreneurs and visionaries for the inaugural Ignite Builder’s Symposium powered by Amplified.

People arrived with ideas and ambition, but many were still searching for clarity about their next step.

Throughout the day, something shifted.

Builders began to articulate their work more clearly.
They identified systems they needed to build.
They made decisions they had been putting off.

One attendee said it simply:

“Before the Builder’s Symposium I was unsure and unsteady. After the Builder’s Symposium, I am a builder.”

That’s exactly why this experience exists.

The Ignite Builder’s Symposium was designed to help builders move from fog to focus, and from ideas to structured next steps.

Because of the momentum from the February room, we are now launching the Inaugural Founder Cohort, where participants will continue working together through the rest of 2026.

The cohort will center on communal accountability, supporting builders as they pursue their goals while diving deeper into:

• Systems & infrastructure
• AI & capacity building
• Branding and promotional intelligence
• Financial structure and stewardship

We’re also launching a private digital community app so cohort members can collaborate and stay connected between sessions.

The cohort will primarily include those who attended the February symposium, with two additional seats available for builders who were not present.

And we’re already preparing the next Ignite Builder’s Symposium powered by Amplified for May 2026.

More soon.

We are proud to welcome MichBruc Multimedia Production Company as our official Media Production Sponsor for the Builder’s Symposium.

Excellence requires ex*****on.
Vision deserves quality.
Movements need documentation.

MichBruc understands how to capture moments that matter and translate them into stories that travel. Their partnership ensures that what happens in the room does not stay in the room.

This is not just an event. It is infrastructure being built in real time.

Grateful for partners who see the vision and bring their craft to strengthen it.

Builder’s Symposium.
We build with intention.

From vision to bankable. Powered by Chase.

This room is not built for inspiration.
It is built for translation.

This session centers on what it actually takes to move a vision from idea to something funders can take seriously—structure, readiness, and credibility that holds up in real conversations.

No hype. No fantasy math. Just the work builders have to do if they want access, not just applause.

The Builder’s Symposium is sold out. And this is why. There will be another later this year.

Meet Thea Anthony at the Builder’s Symposium.

Thea is a transformational leader with deep experience in client engagement, team leadership, and operational management. Her leadership is marked by presence, clarity, and the ability to hold complex environments with steadiness and care.

She will serve as Day Steward, partnering with me to steward the flow, rhythm, and integrity of the Symposium—from arrival through integration.

This role is not about announcements.
It is about holding the day.

Together, we will:
• create an environment where builders feel grounded and focused
• guide transitions with intention rather than urgency
• protect the integrity of the experience
• and ensure participants can stay present with the work they came to do

Thea brings servant leadership, strong communication, and a calm, solution-oriented presence that allows the room to function without friction.

When a day feels clear, well-paced, and safe to do real work—someone is stewarding it.

This room is designed to turn vision into something you can actually work with.

At the Builder’s Symposium, you’ll work directly with
J’vion Armstrong,
Toi Creel,
Cheryl Swanigan,
Tamra Hardy,
Stephanie Durr, and
Marci Bryant—
facilitators who help builders stop carrying everything alone and start making clear, grounded decisions.

Together, they will help you:
• name what actually matters right now
• sort signal from noise
• decide what comes first and what can wait
• put structure around the vision you’ve been holding

This experience is for people who are tired of circling the same questions and are ready to move with intention.

If your vision feels heavy, scattered, or overdue for order—this room is for you.

Meet Christa Stephens at the Builder’s Symposium.

Christa brings leadership intelligence shaped by working across Detroit’s civic, community, and institutional landscape—where leadership is public, accountability is shared, and progress depends on trust, alignment, and timing.

She will serve on the Leadership Intelligence Panel, where we examine the cost, responsibility, and truth of building work that intersects with systems larger than yourself.

This is not a storytelling panel.
This is pattern extraction.

Together, we’ll surface:
• what builders encounter as their work becomes public-facing
• how responsibility shifts when stakeholders multiply
• patterns that emerge when purpose meets policy and institutions
• and the truths leaders must face as influence and visibility grow

Christa brings intelligence earned at the intersection of leadership, community, and public systems—where discernment matters as much as ambition.

If you’re building something that requires credibility, collaboration, and long-term trust, this panel is for you.

Meet Marietta Cleveland at the Builder’s Symposium.

Marietta is an award-winning manufacturing leader whose career spans more than three decades of driving world-class performance inside complex, high-stakes operations. During her tenure at Stellantis (formerly Chrysler), she led transformational change across operations, maintenance, and quality—spearheading the team behind the RAM pickup truck, awarded Motor Trend Truck of the Year in back-to-back years.

After 36 years in manufacturing leadership, Marietta launched H.O.P.E. Strategists, where she now partners with organizations to improve processes, reduce costs, and build leaders who can solve problems through continuous improvement.

She will serve on the Leadership Intelligence Panel, where we examine the cost, discipline, and truth of building systems that must perform consistently—at scale.

This is not a storytelling panel.
This is pattern extraction.

Together, we’ll surface:
• what operational excellence actually requires
• the cost of leadership when failure is not an option
• patterns that emerge as organizations scale
• and the truths builders must face when systems—not effort—determine success

Marietta brings intelligence earned through ex*****on, accountability, and sustained excellence.

If you’re building something that must work—not just sound good—this panel is for you.
