Texarkana Arts & Historic District The Texarkana Arts & Historic District is a collaborative regional marketing initiative focused on historic downtown Texarkana.

District partners include Main Street Texarkana, the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, the Texarkana Museums System and the Cities of Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas. We welcome you to stop by and stay awhile!

Destination Downtown is back again THIS Saturday, October 24th! 🎶🍻🚎

LNK TXK is putting on one BIG block party featuring everything we love about Downtown Texarkana, USA! You're invited to come out, support local businesses, enjoy some great music, and celebrate with us.

🚎 Our Downtown Trolley will also be making the rounds, shuttling attendees from one side of downtown to the other 🤙

Reminder: To keep the trolley clean and comfortable for everyone, smoking/vaping, food, and alcohol are not permitted on board. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed only in secure, spill-resistant containers with a screw-on or locking lid.

We had some VERY handsome visitors in Downtown TXK this past weekend! 🐾🐶

The Bowie County Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue Team hosted a training event that brought around 45 dogs and their handlers to Texarkana to practice their trailing and tracking skills!

SAR teams from across the ArkLaTex and as far away as Iowa, Mississippi and Alabama made the trip to Texarkana for a weekend of training. In addition to downtown, teams put their skills to the test at Bringle Lake Park and Wright Patman Lake.

We love seeing our downtown used in new ways and welcoming visitors from across the country! We hope everyone enjoyed their time in Texarkana, and we thank these dedicated teams and their four-legged partners for the important work they do to help keep communities safe! 🐕❤️

🥒🎉 Pickle Fest is BACK for year two!!

We're excited to welcome the 2nd Annual Pickle Fest Texarkana to the Front Street Festival Plaza in Downtown Texarkana tomorrow, October 10th. The day will start with a 5K then gates open at 10:00 am for you to shop over 130 vendors, listen to live music, cheer for your favorite pickle drinking competitor, and so much more!

We love seeing events like this bring our community together in the Arts & Historic District, and we hope you'll make a whole day of it ⛅👪 After all the festival fun, stick around downtown to grab a bite at one of our local restaurants, explore our unique shops, and see everything our district has to offer!

The Leadership Class of 26–27 hopped aboard the trolley this afternoon for their Downtown Texarkana Day! 🚎☀️

They’ll spend the day exploring some of our most famous landmarks, visiting local shops and entertainment venues, and getting to know Downtown TXK just a little bit better. We’re grateful they chose the trolley to help them get around on this beautiful day 💙

Lookie what’s coming to Downtown TXK 👀💗

Split Vending is a product of our local Pitch It Texarkana competition, which supports local entrepreneurs and gives bright ideas from right here in Texarkana a chance to grow! 💡🏆 Chloe and Amber’s vision for a new way to bring Texarkana souvenirs and merch to our community and visitors earned them first place and $10,000 to help bring their idea to life!

You may have already seen Split Vending at local events like Picklefest and the Texarkana Airshow, selling shirts, hats, koozies and more. Their love for Texarkana shows in everything they do, and we’re so excited to see that passion put to work right here in the heart of downtown. ❤️

Their new vending machine was made possible by Ledwell & Sons, and is located just outside Los Tacos and Joe’s Italian Bistro near Courthouse Square, right across from the U.S. Courthouse & Post Office and our Stateline photo op!

Soon, visitors will be able to grab a little piece of TXK to take home with them to help mark the memories they made while exploring Downtown Texarkana. 🛍️✨
