It’s always fun to show our passion for visual problem-solving and share our process with future leaders. Last week, One Hero hosted the Summit Summer Entrepreneurship camp for the afternoon at our downtown office. We walked through how we developed the identity for the Summit Summer program and talked about how One Hero Creative grew from a one-man show into the thriving business it is 17 years later. We also gave our campers a personal branding project to work on over the summer. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with and hope they left inspired to continue learning about the design profession!

Maya Angelou said – "You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." We are constantly amazed by the enthusiasm for delivering creative solutions from our team at OHC. Lucy recently designed this mural for a conference room at Spear Properties Group headquarters in Winston Salem. Often the work we do travels far away and lives in pixels. It's lovely to see recent work that's close to home and larger than life!

In a corner office at One Hero Creative an unusual flag is on display. It was produced for a community event during or shortly after the second world war when materials and resources were scarce. This explains why it contains just 42 stars and is stitched with black and yellow fabric rather than red and white.

Today, it serves as a reminder of the sacrifices that many Americans have made to preserve freedoms that we all share today. To our men and women in uniform, past, present, and future, you have earned our undying gratitude. Happy Veterans Day.
