Thank you to all the kids and parents for the wonderful questions, enthusiasm, and attention this morning!

I truly enjoyed discussing additive manufacturing (3D printing) with all of you, and I can’t wait to help bring some of your ideas to life.

With such a great turnout, it may take me a couple of weeks to complete all of the drawings, but I’ll get them back to the library as soon as I can.

Thank you again to the Dumont Community Library for the opportunity, and thank you to everyone who attended for making it such a fun and engaging program!

Getting ready for tomorrow’s Summer Reading Program at the Dumont Community Library!

This Empire State Building is one of the test prints I’ve been using while preparing a presentation on additive manufacturing (3D printing). During the program, we’ll explore how an idea becomes a physical object—from design, to instructions, to a finished print.

I’m looking forward to sharing it with everyone and hopefully making technology, creativity, and manufacturing a little more approachable and a lot more fun.

Congratulations to the Rockhounds on their victory in the 2026 Hampton Youth T-Ball Tournament, and congratulations to the Smokies on a great runner-up finish!

As a way of thanking our outstanding Trash Pandas coaches for a great season, I designed and made personalized notebooks and had each player sign the team roster page. Hopefully they’ll serve as a keepsake to remember this season and the players they helped encourage along the way.

I also created personalized bag tags for each player and coach to celebrate the season.

Thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, parents, and players who made it such a fun and memorable year.

What a great season!

Had a great time at Sandbaggin’ Days this weekend! The weather held off until later in the day, and I enjoyed visiting with everyone who stopped by the Funk Prints booth. As my first vendor event, I learned a lot and received some great feedback from the community.

Congratulations to Rylan and Everett on winning the large Wildcat sign raffle!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared ideas, and supported my small business.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again on June 24th at the Dumont Public Library, where I’ll be discussing additive manufacturing and demonstrating how 3D printing works.

Been hard at work getting designs finalized and inventory built up for Sandbagging Days!

I’ll have Wildcat items, Sandbagging Days commemorative items, and a few Father’s Day gifts available for those last-minute shoppers. I’ll also have examples of custom work on display so you can see some of the personalized gifts, signs, planners, and other items I can create.

Since there hasn’t been any announcement of an official vendor show this year, I’ll be set up right in front of our house, directly across the street from the park on the west side.

As a reminder, 10% of all sales will be donated to the Revitalize Dumont project.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Been working on some Dumont Wildcat items for Sandbagging Days!

I’ll have Wildcat keychains, signs, and a few Wildcat flexi toys available during the event.

Since these are community-themed items, 10% of all Wildcat item sales will be donated to the Revitalize Dumont project.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Sandbagging Days!

I’ve been experimenting with turning kids’ handwriting and drawings into custom 3D printed keepsakes.

For this test project, I used my daughter’s handwriting and hand outline.

Using nothing more than bold marker and plain white paper, I was able to turn it into a personalized Father’s Day piece.

Handwriting, simple drawings, hand outlines, names, and short messages all work well for this process.

If you’d be interested in something custom for Father’s Day, or know somebody who would, feel free to reach out and I can explain the process. No meet-up needed; just a clear photo of the drawing is usually enough!

Working on some Father’s Day cover ideas today. Still prototyping and playing with layouts, but I’m liking where this one is heading so far.

One of the things I enjoy most about making custom journals, notebooks, and planners like these is being able to personalize them around the person receiving them — hobbies, trades, interests, favorite colors, inside jokes, names, teams, etc. It makes the gift feel a little more personal and a little less generic.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about making gifts that are not only personalized, but also something that can actually be used afterward instead of just tucked away somewhere.

I’ll be working on more Father’s Day ideas over the next few weeks, but if there’s a specific hobby, trade, interest, or theme you’d like a project centered around, feel free to reach out about custom orders.

Started teaching the kids about the printers today. Naturally, they wanted to jump straight into designing instead of learning how the machines work first lol.

Today’s lesson was a simple tag with a graphic inlay, text, and learning how to mesh out a hole for hanging.
