Our campers were busy chasing Erie beach glass but still let us snap a photo of their beautiful camp site at Sara's Campground near Presque Isle Park. Is AI making social media all look the same? 👀

Someone who genuinely cares about me sent me a few AI-generated marketing pieces this morning trying to help. They looked good. Really good, actually.

And then I opened Facebook.

Within FIVE minutes, the first three graphics below were in my feed.

Different businesses. Different industries. Same polished AI feel. They look good individually, but when a feed is stacked with these, do they start to get lost on you too?

And I had one of those “THIS. This is exactly what I’ve been trying to put my finger on.” moments.

The second three? Real businesses. Real clients I’ve worked with. Imperfect, yes. Real, very.

I use AI every day. I love it. But as a marketer, I’m starting to wonder if “perfect” is becoming invisible.

What would YOU rather see in your feed?

And business owners — what do you want your business to look and feel like online?

Maybe AI is becoming the “LA plastic surgeon of social media”… everybody looks good, but eventually everybody starts looking related.
