Friends, now that all issues have been distributed, we can let the 🐈 fully out of the 🛍️.... SOMEBODY THINKS! Vol. 1 is officially out!!! It is our new zine (in conjunction with the homie Kevin Hartranft and MINI SINK CO.) aimed at promoting local art, writing, talent, poetry, news...anything, really!

This first issue is 6 pages + covers, hand screenprinted in our shop in Marshalls Creek, limited to 186 copies. 100 copies were included with the newest drop of Main Street Jukebox totes, and copies can also be found at The Goat On Main, Holy Stokes Skateshop, Ant Farm Music and Amplification, The Cure Cafe, Floods Bar, and Cafe Duet! Check out those sweet spots and snag yours while they're hot! 🌡️

Also: Big 🙏 thanks to all who contributed to this issue. We are now beginning to take submissions for Issue #2! Keep 'em one color and bold (remember , we're hand printing) and send 'em to [email protected]... we're excited to see what comes thru! 🤙

Friends, as Main Street Jukebox has announced, the corporate side of Record Store Day has been cancelled and we here at Tempest fully support Tom and the Jukebox in this decision.

However, after talking to Tom LeFevre and hearing the story, understanding the croney-ism, and (quite frankly) getting pi**ed that some suit's decision trickled down this far, we decided that WE WILL PERSEVERE AND HAVE THE COVETED RSD TOTE BAGS AVAILABLE!!! (albeit with some minor changes)

The whole tote bag idea was always about supporting and showing off local businesses, and using RSD and the community hub of our local record store as the catalyst...and we've been successful! After making them for a couple years and seeing their popularity (both with customers & sponsors), we are planning to proceed with releasing a run of 100 twice annually, still loosely guided by RSD dates, but instead of Record Store Day imagery, they will have the classic Main Street Jukebox logo on the front, and our super rad sponsors on the other side.

That being said, the first run of these NON-RSD Record Totes will be at Jukebox THIS SATURDAY on a first come, first served basis. This bag release will also include an issue of the new local periodical Somebody Think! Zine, which has stories, oddities and other cool local features for y'all to check out.

So this weekend, we encourage everyone to go hit the crates, dig for gems, pan for gold, buy records and support local, support the MAIN STREET JUKEBOX!!!
