I don't just care about the photos... I care about the people, the moment, the memories and the future. When I met these two, they were dating. I captured their engagement not even 10 minutes after seeing them for the first time.

Flash forward to now, these love birds are married and I couldn't be more happy for them. I was with them every step of the way and probably obnoxiously organized, but it was for a reason. I expected the best FOR them, from myself. These two beautiful souls deserved nothing less for the trust they placed in me.

This is why I do it.

Yesterday I photographed another wedding, this time with video as well. I have been wanting to be more of a hybrid shooter because I feel like I can offer so much more to my clients and friends. Every time I get home and look at what I captured, I feel more confident in myself.

The constant pursuit of growth and improvement is why I do this. No amount of money in the world could make me settle for less than my best. It's taken time to get here, as well as failure. It's taken patience and the need to ask for constructive criticism from people. It's taken months at a time to learn one little thing.

2027 will be the year I brand myself as a wedding, prom, fashion and artistic photographer AND videographer. I will still do the family shoots and anything else people want, but I will really push myself to be the best at my niche.

I went out this morning with no intent, just to wander around Freeman lake. This green heron was very nice and climbed the limbs for me. 👏

The color grading crunch is starting to pay off. Soon there will be a whole other level to what I can do.

Stay tuned.

The amount of local businesses that rely on local money and choose to use AI ads and logos instead of hiring local artists is far too many.

You can't expect local support and not give back to the people who are paying your bills.

Anywho, here are some bugs from yesterday.

There's cool stuff everywhere. You just need to pay attention.
