Get in the car! You’re coming along for a busy afternoon with The Willow House Creative! 🌱 there were lots of stops to make today and I thought it might be fun to bring you along. 😉 First stop was downtown Ellijay to grab a specific pic I wanted for a client. Second stop was a quick photo for another local business. I also got to drop in and say hi to everyone! 😊 I’ll spend time with them all at their full content shoot next week. Stops three and four were scheduled content shoots with two other businesses. Getting to spend time with my clients and their teams and capture the people and moments that help tell the story of their businesses. It’s just such a neat thing.

Next, I stopped by to visit my friends at Gilmer Chamber , and we officially scheduled The Willow House Creative ribbon cutting for November 11th at 4:30 PM! 🎉 I’ll be sharing more details soon, but I’m SO excited to finally celebrate Willow House with everyone. I would love for you to be there!!! 🤗

And finally, I visited my friend Stacy at Ellijay Florist & Gifts to start picking out colors and merch for Willow House. And yes, I’ll be giving away some Willow House merch at the ribbon cutting! 👀🌿 I can’t wait to show you what things we’re coming up with.

I really love afternoons like this. Getting out in our community, visiting my clients and their businesses, meeting the people behind them, and finding ways to tell their stories is easily one of my favorite parts of what I do. I love being able to connect with people that make Ellijay so special. Every business has a story worth telling. Thanks for letting me help tell it. 🥹❤️

I hear this more than you would think… 👀 One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to work with so many different types of businesses. Healthcare, construction, retail, professional services, local shops… no two clients are the same, and that’s what keeps this job fun. And I’ve learned pretty quickly that there really is NO such thing as a boring business. There are people behind it, stories to tell, work being done, customers being helped, and a million little things happening every day that someone on the outside would actually find interesting.

Sometimes when you’re in your business every day, you just don’t see those things as content. That’s where I come in. 🌿

Last Friday, I had the privilege of being asked to speak on the panel at the Gilmer Chamber Women in Business Breakfast, and it was such a special morning. It was an honor to sit alongside and be surrounded by so many incredible women from our community. Daughters, moms, sisters, aunts, friends, business owners, leaders, and women who make an impact in Gilmer County every single day.

The theme of the morning was “What’s In Your Cup?” and it gave me a chance to reflect on just how full mine feels lately. Since launching The Willow House Creative in April, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some truly amazing local business owners and become even more connected to the community I get to call home.

I’m especially thankful for every person who has supported this business, encouraged me, trusted me with their brand, recommended me, and… maybe most importantly, shared my name in rooms I wasn’t in. That kind of support means more than I can put into words. It’s truly a privilege to build a business and work right here in Gilmer County. My cup is very full. Thank you🌿

Welp… I tried. 😂

I was going to film a cute little “day in my life” vlog and then… life happened. Clients needed me. My family needed me. Work needed to get done. I got busy. And somewhere along the way, I completely forgot to keep filming.Wait… does this sound familiar? 🤨
If you’re a small business owner, I’m willing to bet it does. You want to post. You mean to grab content. You tell yourself, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” But when you’re actually busy running the business, social media is usually the first thing to get pushed aside. And guess what? I get it.

It’s been a minute… 🌿

The last four months have been some of the busiest, and most rewarding, of my career. 🥹

While this page has been quiet, behind the scenes I’ve been building. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible local businesses, spending long days creating content, learning new industries, refining my processes, and helping brands tell their stories in a way that feels authentic.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I got so busy growing everyone else’s business that I stopped sharing what was happening with mine.

So, let’s fix that.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes, client transformations, marketing tips, and what it’s really like building The Willow House Creative.

I’m also excited to announce that Willow House is growing.

In addition to social media management, I’m now offering:
• Brand identity & logo design
• Professional content photography
• Short-form video creation
• Google Business Profile management
• Print marketing materials

My goal has always been simple: to become a creative partner that local businesses can rely on, not just for posts, but for building a brand people remember.
