VFW Post 109 helped out a disabled Veteran today. The family needed a couch and loveseat removed from their house in Gouldsboro and taken away because the Veteran can only use lift chairs to get back on his feet. Thank you to members Dan Green, Randy Mosley, and to soon to be member John Lowery for providing the muscle to get the job done. The furniture was dropped off at Goodwill. Just another example of what the VFW does and is all about. The VFW motto is "Still Serving," and it is 100% accurate. If you are not a member, come talk to us about joining our team. If you are a member but not a participating one, we need you to help keep our mission going. So please come back and become part of the team again. Our number is 207-667-7634 . Thanks.
